Gerber Technology launches new webPDM

Gerber Technology, provider of CAD/CAM and PLM solutions for the sewn products and flexible materials industry, has launched webPDM 6.0, the flagship module of its PLM software suite.
Its webPDM 6.0 functions as a globally-accessible, browser-based solution that enables development professionals to organise information, create tech packs and communicate with employees, customers, vendors and suppliers. According to the company, it enhances the end-user experience, allowing rapid global creation, collaboration and production execution for apparel, accessories, furniture and other consumer products."With webPDM 6.0, we've added highly desirable features such as Linked Pages and Folders that allow for one time entry of specification information spread throughout multiple styles," says Elizabeth King, director of software applications. "Global participants can easily and effectively organise and create content, while taking advantage of enhanced functionality such as the BOM staging area promoting implementation and collaboration on the most important product components.”
The software integrates with its other PLM modules including AccuMark, webView and webFolio.
