30/07/2009

Footwear group Tod's, which has four brands at the high end of the market, Tod's, Roger Vivier, Fay and Hogan, has reported a growth in sales of 3.4% across the group for the first half of the year.

The four brands took in a combined total of €358.9 million over the six-month period.

The Tod's brand had the lion's share of this total, with sales of €180.7 million.

On issuing the results, group president, Diego Della Valle, said: "These figures confirm how strong the group is. We are continuing to achieve growth during a particularly difficult market period. The results show that the position in the market our brands enjoy is justified and that we have the right mix of quality, exclusivity and functionality in place for the luxury market at this time."
