Payless announces first UAE store

Payless ShoeSource has announced the opening of its first store in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a 227-square-metre outlet in the Bawadi Mall, in Al Ain.

"We are excited to continue our Payless store expansion in the Middle East with this first store in the UAE and our fourth in the region," said the company's chief executive, Matt Rubel.

Franchise partner Alshaya will run the store.
