The Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) has opened the first Brazilian Business Centre in Asia.

The new support structure for Brazilian exporters is located in Beijing and can accommodate more than 20 companies. It features meeting rooms for small gatherings and a warehouse has also been built at the site.

Cesar Yu is in charge of the new unit and has been trained to offer support to companies that want to set up an office in the business centre as well as identifying business opportunities, helping with appointment making and appointing professional consultancy firms.

The new facility will be particularly useful to high-end shoe exporters who are trying to penetrate the difficult Chinese market.
