Sara Navarro goes 'eco'

Spanish footwear designer Sara Navarro has launched a new collection aimed at environmentally conscious women.
The materials she has used include linen, velvet and jute, a natural material that has featured in traditional alpargatas footwear for generations. Ms Navarro has even emulated the alpargatas style for some of the models in the new collection, but other shoes are specifically for bridal wear.
Platform soles come in a variety of heights, ranging from two to 10 centimetres and colours include natural options, such as beige, as well as strong seasonal colours such as fuschia.
The designer said she had in mind when creating the new eco collection women who want to feel feminine but without giving up on comfort.
