Huge growth in exports to Africa

China's state news service has reported that the customs authorities in Huangpu District in Guangdong show that the province's exports to Africa countries increased by 1.4% to $3.1 billion in the first four months of this year.
The footwear industry's contribution to this was $120 million, showing growth of 67%. Exports of leathergoods were up by 65% too.
