Leather and footwear are at the top of the list of exports from the Tunisian province of Béja, followed by apparel, industrial machinery, electrical equipment and food.

The province had a total of 48 exporting companies in 2008, who achieved a combined export income of around $40 million for the year. In the first four months of 2009, these companies have exported goods worth almost $14 million.
