Weitzman lecture

High-end footwear designer Stuart Weitzman has agreed to give a lecture entitled ‘Design as a strategy for the future of the industry’ at the Miguel Hernández University in the Spanish footwear capital, Elche.
Originally from New York, Mr Weitzman has run the bulk of his manufacturing operations from factories in the area around Elche for more than 20 years. Around 1,600 people work on Weitzman footwear collections in Spain.
