Latest Clariant products at Guangzhou fair
Specialty chemicals company Clariant is to showcase its latest products at the Guangzhou Shoe and Leather Industry Exhibition, which runs June 2-4. The company will present a broad range of innovations at the event from wet end products to finishing products.
Wet end products on show will include its Granofin FCC pre-tanning system in synergy with the re-tanning agent Tanicor SCU. Tergotan PMB and Tergotan TSP, intelligent polymer re-tanning agents that offer even softness, tightness and grain pattern, will also be shown. Other wet end products will include: Tergotan PO-60, a new re-tanning and softening polymer that provides softness and tightness; speciality fatliquors Derminol DDS and Derminol PUA for vegetable type articles; Neosyn syntans, which are said to offer economy and quality; and Derma Soft Beige, Derma Soft Yellow Brown and Derma Soft Red Brown dyestuffs, which offer the same levelness and high fastness properties with approximately twice the intensity of shade of the original members of the Derma Soft range.
Finishing products on show will include: Melio Aquabase M-88, a polymer dispersion with high filling substances used to cover deep defects in order to make them invisible after finishing; Melio Aquabase RN-03 and RN-04, two very strong filling products especially developed for reverse roller coater applications; Melio 06-F-45, a hard, water-based wax which offers a good darkening effect and coverage and is suitable for both shoe and upholstery leathers; and Aqualen Top LN.A, a new ecological topcoat product for aqueous patent leather imitation. The company will also present: Aqualen Top DC-2050.A (dull) and Top DC-2051.A (gloss), best suited for soft leathers such as furniture leather or shoe upper nappas; Neosan 2000, an intelligent pigment system; and a range of Supronil HK dyes.
