Dates for China shoe shows announced
China Shoes and Shoetec will take place on May 5–7 at the GD Modern International Exhibition Center, Houjie, Dongguan, China.
Because of the worldwide economic downturn, the organisers have decided to focus its strategies on the domestic market in terms of value-added services, strong media campaigns and strengthening ties between domestic and overseas traders. Hot topics such as distribution channels, marketing, sales, credit management, payment and insurance will be discussed at the event. Organisers will work closely with more than 40 shoe and retail associations at the event.
A new Buyers Village will be launched to promote business matching and buyers, traders and local brands will be invited to meet with exhibitors.
Numerous associations will organise exhibiting pavilions including the Hong Kong Footwear Association, China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Light Industrial Products and Arts-Crafts (CCCLA), Dongguan Leather Shoes Association and Dongguan Shoe-Making Machinery Association.
