Fake Crocs seized in Genoa

Italian customs officials at the port of Genoa have intercepted 35,000 pairs of counterfeit shoes.
The shoes, which arrived in the Italian port on a ship from China, bore the Crocs brand name, but the authorities, after communicating directly with the US-based footwear brand, concluded that they were counterfeit and seized the shipment.
The consignment was destined for a company in Vicenza, the owner of which has been arrested.
