US footwear designer Stuart Weitzman won the prize for best accessories designer in the 2013 Prix Marie Claire in Spain. Mr Weitzman was presented with the award at a gala event at the French embassy in Madrid on November 21.

Originally from New York, Stuart Weitzman has made his shoes in Spain for more than 20 years.
